This product is made by nylon mesh, binds with PET needle punched fabric, for high temperature tolerance. And it also absorbs oil, furthermore, it filters particle, which will damage the oil pump. This product is a substitute of oil filter paper, which has high resistance.
The role of oil filter media is to filter out impurities, gums and water in engine oil, and deliver clean engine oil to various lubrication parts.
In order to reduce the frictional resistance between the relative moving parts in the engine and reduce the wear of the parts, the oil is continuously transported to the friction surface of each moving part to form a lubricant film for lubrication. The engine oil itself contains a certain amount of gum, impurities, moisture and additives. At the same time, during the operation of the engine, the introduction of metal abrasive debris, the entry of debris in the air, and the generation of engine oil oxides have caused the debris in the engine oil to gradually increase. If the oil goes directly into the lubricating oil path without being filtered, it will bring the impurities contained in the oil to the friction surface of the sports pair, accelerate the wear of the parts, and reduce the service life of the engine.
